Empowering India's Mining Sector with Australian Innovation
After scouting the market, Austmine identified Austin Engineering as a potential candidate to solve the challenge. Austin Engineering is an innovative Australian company headquartered in Perth, Western Australia, that designs and manufactures customised dump truck bodies, buckets, water tanks, tyre handlers and other ancillary products utilised in the mining industry.
Following Austin Engineering’s solution submission for the challenge, they were introduced to the Indian multinational mining company by Austmine. Across a process of 12 – 24 months, Austin Engineering designed and tested their dump bodies in collaboration with the mining company, and successfully achieved project targets.
Austin Engineering has now received a commercial contract for an initial set of dump bodies from the mining company, and significant scope for further business outcomes.
